More than two years have passed since the release of KKDIK. According to the information provided by the Ministry of Environment, so far 805 companies have sent pre-SIEF of 10442 substances to the system. 644 companies sent Classification Labeling registrations for 9905 substances. Pre-SIEF and C/L registration processes are in progress and will continue until 31/12/2020.
One of the most important issues to be considered when doing pre-registrations is that the data in the system must be entered carefully and completely.
However, it is observed that most of the records made through the system have incomplete contact information. This means that registrants will have difficulties finding each other in the next stage during MBDFs (SIEFs) forming. Considering that the deadline for all tonnage ranges is 31/12/2023, it is already seen that there will be considerable difficulties during this 3-years registration period.
Another noteworthy issue is that no changes can be made to the pre-registered and sent items. Therefore, the registrant can re-register the substance and it seems that many more substances have been pre-registered over and over again in the system.
In order to prevent future difficulties, it is necessary to carry out a careful pre-registration process. For this reason, Only Representative (OR) selection is very important at this point. Remember, OR not only pre-registers for you, but also bears responsibility for all your registration processes. We have already mentioned the difficulties of changing OR in KKDIK processes and even not possible.
At this stage, we recommend that you make a careful choice while there is a period of one year and four months before the end of pre-registrations.
